Position Overview

You will be a part of the drilling team and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the jobsite that is assigned to you, including leading crews of up to three (3) workers.

You will be responsible to set and uphold the standards of safety, quality and performance as defined by your supervisor, leading your team by example. You will always represent yourself and our company with the utmost professionalism and respect for our clients and project partners at all times.
You will report directly to the Drilling Team Leader or such other person(s) as The Company may designate from time to time.

Essential Job Functions

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating any drill rig assigned to you along with any and all support equipment that is required for the operation of said drill rig.
• Maintain each site with the highest of standards with regards to safety, workmanship, performance, and efficiency.
• Manage site expenses, budgets, material lists, site needs and requirements.
• Diligently maintain any and all documentation pertaining to the project.
• Responsible for training new hires in their duties on site, as well as collaborating with the leadership team with regards to employee performance, discipline, and reviews.
• Facilitate schedules and deadlines and coordinate with all stakeholders.
• Read and interpret blueprints and follow all specifications within.
• Willing to travel anywhere in North America.
• Work extended days and overtime as needed, including up to 6 days per week and 12 hours per day during peak construction season; work will be on a rotating schedule at the discretion of your supervisor (i.e. 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off)
• Operate and maintain company vehicles and construction equipment, including but not limited to Drill Rigs, Grouters, Loop Reels, Excavators, Skid Steers, Generators, etc.
• Work independently or in a team-based environment.
• Work in all weather conditions.
