Mixed-Use, Transit-Oriented Community

Geothermal drilling has officially wrapped up for the rental housing block at 50 Wilson Heights Blvd. — converting a city-owned surface parking lot into a mixed-use, transit-oriented community. Developed by Greenwin Corp., KingSett Capital and Tridel, in partnership with the City of Toronto and CreateTO, this project will deliver 1,484 new homes, including 520 affordable rental units, a park, child care centre, community space and improvements to the public realm – all next to Toronto Transit Commission (TTC)’s Wilson Subway Station.

Aligned with the City of Toronto’s TransformTO climate action goals, 50 Wilson Heights Blvd. meets the Toronto Green Standard through its geothermal-powered design. Diverso Energy’s system will serve the heating and cooling needs of the first buildings in the development, reducing their carbon footprint while also lowering energy consumption, water usage, and long-term maintenance costs.
